IMPORTANT NOTE regarding our position on hosting World Champ if the bloody illegitimate regime changes:
We’ll be happy to have World Champ 2021 here in Minsk if the regime changes, all political prisoners are freed, and all the cases of arresting over 10 000 peaceful Belarusians, beating to death, tortures, rapes, and other cases of iniquity and genocide are investigated.
If Lukashenko stays, hosting the World Championship will be a complete cynicism on the part of the IIHF towards the Belarusian nation."

Наконец, в преддверии президентских выборов на территорию Беларуси были заброшены несколько тактических групп российских ЧВК, в том числе печально известной «группы Вагнера», для участия в массовых протестных акциях на стороне протестующих. Однако одна из групп так называемых «вагнеровцев» была арестована за две недели до президентских выборов. Были и другие группы, которых белорусские власти так и не смогли арестовать. Они продолжают свою скрытную деятельность на территории Беларуси, постоянно ротируются и вероятно готовятся к работе в условиях, когда этому будет благоприятствовать обострение социально-политической обстановки уже весной 2021 года.
